Why motorcycle rides Kanab, Utah? Here are just a few of the reasons. It’s a small town in southern Utah. You may never have heard of it. But Kanab is ground zero for some of the best motorcycle rides in the country. The reason? There are National Parks, National Monuments, and National Forests in almost every direction from Kanab.
Here is a short list of the major places near Kanab. By near, I mean less than a day. In fact, if you are one of those types that like to take in as many sites in a day as humanly possible. Kanab is your place.

Where to Stay in Kanab
Use Kanab as a base camp for your motorcycle rides Kanab adventure. There are a lot of choices of Motels. The price range varies depending on what accommodations you are looking for. Most are along Hwy 89 which runs north and south through the town. You should make reservations during peak times. Peak times are in the summer.
An alternative to using Kanab as a base camp. If you have the time to make plans, consider this. Plan to stay in the lodges of the three major National Parks. Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon (north rim). To me, that would be the ultimate trip, either on bikes or by car. The problem, of course, will be getting reservations. It won’t be easy but it will be well worth it. If you can’t get all three, try two.
Kanab Dining and Night Life
Kanab is Mormon country. The locals can be quite reserved. That’s not to say you can’t have a good time but you have to look a little harder.

- Houston’s Trail’s End
- Rocking V Café
